Can't Believe its Monday again

Dear, Beloved Family
This week went by so fast I just can't believe it. But Some highlights of the week. We had a lesson with our Investigator Terryanne at the zoo! It's free so that was kind of cool she showed us a cool place where their were literally hundreds of turtles!!! I couldn't believe it! We also gave a Training in PEC so that was kind of fun but nothing happened from it. It was suppose to be how can we have successful lightning visits but no one listened. We had a really cool family home evening with a Part Member family the Fuimono family and we had an activity on riddles was heaps of fun! We also had a lesson with our Investigator Bianca and about 30 minutes into the lesson their was a knock on the door and her son came to the us and said "the coppers are here mom they want to talk" We sat their very awkwardly for about 15-20 minutes not sure if you should just go or what. So we waited and she then came back really upset. She didn't get in trouble it was her son who has been in mischief with his friends. It was a sad funny moment for us. Lesson gets interrupted by the police. But I guess the best thing I've learned this week is the power of repentance when you just feel like nothing is happening or going right in the work. Look back on perhaps some of the little things that you do or don't do and repent and change them to how they should be and the lord will then shape you and blessing will begin to come as you do so. So if things might not be going right Repent! Change your will to the Lords will and you will begin to see his hand lift and guild you. Have a Great week and Be Safe!

Lights Out!

Dear, Family
This week has been a bit hard our investigator John who was on date dropped us. We had a lesson with in set for Tuesday morning and we went by to have our lesson, and when we had showed up him and his wife were in the middle of a fight and boy the contention was just super thick you could have cut It with a knife and he was complaining to us about how he's been trying to meet up with the Branch President for 2 1/2 weeks wanting to discuss something's with him before he was baptised. And we told the branch president 3 times and the home teachers told president that John and his wife wanted to meet with him as well. But I don't know why or why not they weren't able to meet. But John just said can we just reschedule for another time we said of course we will just text when a good time might be. But later that day we got a text saying that he didn't want to be baptised, didn't want us coming around, or anyone from the church. Broke my heart to read that. But we also had sports night at the chapel on Friday and we had an awesome turn out there were about 40 people that came and there were 7-8 non members that showed up which was awesome. but at like 8:20 pm so about 20 minute before we end their was a flare up. The 2nd counsellor in the Branch presidency Just turned the lights of to the court yard jumped in the car and left. So he decided that he would just end the sports night we didn't even close properly with a prayer or anything but yeah it didn't leave a good impression in the mind of many of the member and non members that were present. It was just a bitter funny experience. But on the Up side our investigator Lina is going to be baptised on the 12 of March it was originally for the 27th of this month but she said that her mom wasn't going to be able to make is and we were like um... we can move it lets make sure your mom is there. but so just a temporary set back which works for the best because that week we have district conference and the confirmation would have to be set back a week so up and up it works. but that my week! I know that this church is true and if you want to see blessing and miracle come I know we have to have faith and repent then the lord will help us. For you Receive no witness until after the trail of your faith. (Ether 12:12)

Mission Tour

Dear, Family
This week we flow down to Brisbane it was good on the way down I took some Motion sickness pill so I didn't get that sick, but on the way up I didn't have any and by the time we landed I just wanted to throw up! But For Mission Tour we had Elder Haleck come and he gave us some training which were good. But what I got from the Conference was that need to get married. I'll explain we were asked before had to prepare some questions for a Q&A so I have been really struggling with just loving people I hear it all the time in emails from people saying I'm having the best time just loving and serving others. Something I feel I have lost in Charity it was really strong when I came out but it has seem to fad so I have been wanting to build charity so I had the question How can I build and gain Charity for the people around me? Well when I asked my question President Henderson Stood up and said I just had a thought come to my mind and you won't like it. So he said If you have me all the study in the world I couldn't learn Charity, but I can learn more in a Nanosecond of Charity from my wife then all that time I could spend studying. Basically he said you will just have to wait till you get married! :D super funny everyone started laughing. But Yeah I can do what I can now and look towards the Saviour and Love when it's hard to Love. But I also learned about coming home and the future and that the mission isn't for now it's for your life ahead and into the Eternities so it's was powerful and there was a quote I really liked and it is "Go Home, But Don't Go Back!" I don't know why those two things are what I learned and received revelation on It should be how can I help my investigators, Or work with the ward better and so forth but no It was on Marriage and Going home. So stupid because I don't want to think about that the thought of it terrifies me. I just have a hard time seeing the mission come to an end. but yeah my week has been good not much happening Except for our Investigator Lina she is 15 and she is getting baptized hopefully on February 27th. She is really good We gave her a blessing to help he have the courage to tell her father her decision to be baptized. But Keep up the Work The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and it's the lords kingdom restored to the earth preparatory to his coming. I know that to be true!!! I Love you and hope you have a great Week!

Mission Tour Tomorrow!!! :D

Dear, Family
Well this week has been alright. We have had 4 investigators drop us so that is always challenging. It's been super hard to see the investigators we are teaching as well. But this week we had a really big scare with our investigator John his date is for the 5th of March but when we saw him at the beginning of the week the Adversary was really working on him trying to get him to drop the date we spent about 2 hours trying to help him to overcome his concerns, but when we left he was dead set on not being baptized and we told him to Pray and Ask god especially with his concerns On the Temple Garment, Testimony of Joseph Smith, Tithing, and Need for Baptism. I must be honest my faith was weak I didn't think that he would be humble enough to receive an answer. But we fasted as a companionship Praying that His heart would be softened and that he would receive comfort with his concerns. When we saw him yesterday he had told us that God answered his prayers by helping him so see a comparison in his life with seeing a spirit and with what Joseph Smith saw and he explained that if he wanted others to believe him they would have to in faith, so what he came to was that he needed to believe in faith with the reality of what Joseph Smith saw. Nothing we had said or did would have helped him to overcome this problem but I know with Divine direction from the spirit that his concern about Believing in faith was answered and we then were able to teach POS and help him to understand the need for Baptism. He still is a bit unsure with tithing and the Temple Garment but they set up an appt. with Branch President to discuss those concerns but been a bit of a hard week with a happy ending in a way. I know that the Lord if we are obedient, full of faith, and repentant he will help us and the Grace of God will Lift us.
