Well like the subjects says I'm in Logan now and this is like Polynesian Central and lots of Kiwi's and its really good. I"m so Excited to get FAT! it sound like a good ward! I'm a bit bummed because I thought I was going to DIE in Buderim but this will be a just as good. Gonna just smash the Area. Don't have heaps of time to get to know the ward but I just pray that we can have heaps of success! I'm ready to work. My new companion is Elder Jimmy Avock (that is his last name space and all) He is from Vanuatu, Port Villa and he loves soccer. Well not much else to report on gonna miss Buderim and the people I've met up their but the Lords will be done! Our Area is huge it goes to the Boarder of NSW. I want to make a road trip. Not much else has been happening. I know that God has a plan and purpose for each of us and central to this plan is Our savior Jesus Christ.

week 6

Dear, Family
So Sorry about not emailing for ages we had temple P-day so we didn't have it till today. So that was awesome woke up at 3:30 am took the train down to the temple and got their at 7:30 am I'm pretty tired today. Yesterday I was sick with some symptoms of the flu was no good. My whole body was aching I felt like I got hit by a car or something was so bad. and The toilet got plenty of use I hate being stuck inside it's no good all you want to do is get out and work. It's so scary to think this is my last transfer on the mission. We find out if I leave, Stay, or get another golden. I say that because their are 29 new missionaries coming in super Exciting. and One of them is Sister Murray's Boyfriend. Also gave a 20 minute talk in church about how to recognize the Holy Ghost. But in way of missionary work not much out of the ordinary has happened we have been a struggling a bit we have been unable to find any new people to teach in the last 4 weeks. So that will be a major focus of ours. But we do have a date set with Jake, but he is really excited for baptism but I fear for lasting conversion. We still have 4 weeks left but were going to focus on helping him to receive conversion from the Holy Ghost. I love you!! I want you to know the church is true and time is short! This is the time appointed for us to prepare to meet God. My biggest fear is not having changed enough through the Atonement of Christ. It's progress and it's something we need to consistently work at. I love you all! have a wonderful Week!

Interviews

Dear, Family
This week has been a slow one again with not to much happening in the beginning of the week we took things a bit easy cause my comp wasn't feeling the best. but something that was a highlight is we were able to have interviews with our mission President. Pres. McSwain he is the man super powerful and spirit filled. Teaches from the Scriptures with Power. We had only planed for it to take about 2 1/2 hours but it took nearly 7 hours it was crazy. the first 3 hours were training and then he did interviews and he spent heaps of time with everyone else but me it seemed but it was super good we talked about making plans and goals for when I return home. Thats such a scary thought but I feel more at ease and less stressed. But I was able to talk to sister McSwain and she is such a nice lady. And guess what His name and Her name are Mark and Vonnie I told he that my Parents names are Mark and Bonnie. The funny thing is just 1 week ago her daughter just had twins and guess what Nick is having twins their was lots in common. Crazy like parents away from home act very similar to almost found your doppelgangers Mom and Dad. Haha but just yesterday we were able to have a lesson with our investigator Daniel and it was so good he accepted the invitation to be baptized for August 27th and also Jake our investigator accepted the invitation to be baptized on September 3rd Can you pray for them!! I love you all hope you have a wonderful day!!! and Know that God lives!!!!

20 Years old, WHAT?

Dear Family
I still feel like I'm 17 years old I probably still act like it. but time is just so quick it's not fair. This morning though my companion got ill he's got food poison. Patrick Flynn should be coming down today. We are going up to Buderim falls to have a lunch with him it should be good. I'm Excited I love this Man so much and I just don't know how to help him to make the ultimate show of commitment baptism. This week not much has happened it been really slow we have had some unplanned service activities which has taken up some of our time. and also we were in Brisbane for two day for Golden Orientation For Elder Leach. I got to work with the Logan Zone Leaders it was fun. Their area is like the Ghetto where all the stabbing happen. but As we were door knocking met some of the most humble people. Wasn't really scary, was a really good experience. We then went back and the trainers received some training and after it was so weird cause this was the first time I met President McSwain it was just so relaxed so weird. Missionaries were taking photos with him for like 20 min after the meeting. That would be a big no no with President Henderson. But He is brilliant bring a new vibe to the mission and is also very powerful with the scriptures. I wish I could stay longer and learn so much more from him. But on Sunday Night we had a lesson with a Less active member who was a Convert to the Church 3 years ago by the sister Missionaries. He has falling into a path of drugs. and Has been seeking help to get back on his feet. And he got in contact with us and when we went over the spirit directed the lesson and was just so very powerful! and also are now teaching his roommate Oliy which was super cool. It just felt so good to teach and to have some one act upon what you have taught and shared its one of the best feelings. I feel so bad for him been trying to help him. I know that god lives! He prepares people and that he wants to bless his children and that through what we do. We can become powerful tools in the hand of the Lord. I love you! Have a wonderful Week.

P.s. The Photo is of Me and Brother Smith
Also I've been trying to do a bit of family history and I've been trying to find some records for Dads side. For Our Great Great Great Grand Pa (John August Nilsson) If that is even his name. So if you could help with this search that would be fantastic. I've probably have spent a total of like 10 hours my whole mission to find him and I'm getting frustrated. and All I know is that they are from Sweden and thats it. Feel the Spirit of Elijah!

Crazy, Sad Week

Dear, Family
Boy this has been a humbling and weak of growth. Our investigator Les had given us a call on Monday afternoon just after we finished shopping and Emailing and we missed the call but he left a voicemail which. Caused me and my companions heart to skip a beat. He told us that he was going to kill himself. We just sat in silence unsure of what we should do to help him. We drove back to the flat and we just felt impressed that we should go to his home and see him. As we were on our way he called again and we continued to speak to him until we got to his come. We then just listened to him for 4 hours just trying to ensure him that their is hope and meaning to his life. We just felt so unsure of what to say or do but we had to go was a nervous for us to leave. He was so Drunk it was just really sad to see He just wasn't in the right mind set to even think properly. But the following morning he called us back to apologize and told us he was going to get some help. We had Trade offs this week with the Zone Leaders Elder Smith and I Just before going to the flat thought we should go to the Bus stop and talk to some people. We then met James he has scratches all over his neck and face when we started talking to him he also expressed that he was going to kill himself. We spoke to him gave him our number and he got on the bus. It's been a bit hard and it brakes my heart to see people feel so lost that they feel their is only one way out. I know that our Heavenly Father Loves us. Even when things get tough or challenging he is their. But he won't take away our agency. Draw near unto him and he will draw near unto you. I know that to be true no matter what the future my look like know that god won't leave you alone. I Love you All! I know that God Loves us we are his Children!
  Love,
