Dear, Family
So sorry for not emailing we had P-day on Wednesday today and we went to the temple. Wow this week has been so wonderful we got see Angela enter into the waters of baptism and it was a beautiful experience and bring to my soul such great joy to witness great miracles. I've come to understand the lord a bit more. It's through the ordinances that we see and preform that we are able to witness the beauty and simplicity of the lord. The lord works in purity and in light "That which is of god is light and he that receiveth light and continueth in god receiveth more light and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day." From the moments the gospel has been taught to Angela I've been able to see and witness the light of Christ work within her I've been able to literally see a new sense of energy and glow to her. I know that the lord he works in the light and it's by the light that we receive that we must walk by(2 Nephi 7:11) To be able to be apart of the light receiving and testimony building process is something that will forever impact my life. I also know that the lord will bless those who are obedient. The night of Angela's baptism Angela texted us expressing that Dylon's Father was going to take her to court for taking him to church and he absolutely didn't want Dylon to have anything to do with the church. This was devastating news to us Because just two night before he expressed to us that he wanted to be baptized as well he is only 7 but his desire to follow Christ and learn is inspirational. Angela exercised great faith and obedience to the commandments we been able to teach her the importance of raising your children up in righteousness and she was determined to do all she could so Dylon could come to church and be apart of it. That night Elder Lomuntad and I pleaded with the lord to soften the heart of Dylon's father. Well long story short Angela shared with us a text message he sent Expressing that he was sorry. We then read (1 Nephi 3:7) I know and have seen the lords keep his promise he gives us no commandment that we cannot keep. He will provide a way!
Love,
Elder Johnson
